Our first mentorship program is next Thursday! CAPS will be presenting about academic burnout and stress. This is a great opportunity to learn about how to take care of our mental health during midterms season. This event is open to all of AIChE, not just mentors/mentees. Also, we will have free food! It will be in Engineering Building 2, Room W205.

We have our first social event coming up on Monday! Make sure to come out for bowling, making new friendships, and free food!! We’ll be at the UH Game Room in the Student Center from 6-8 pm.

Make sure to come out for our Ascend Infosession! This is the day before the career fair, so we will be working on elevator pitches, resume critiques, and more!

Make sure to attend our first general meeting on September 13th at 7 pm. It will be in Engineering Building 2, Room W205 and there will also be great food plus games! Enterprise will also be hosting an infosession at the meeting! This can be very helpful, especially with the career fair soon approaching.

We have a joint volunteering event with Phillips 66 at the Houston Food Bank on September 9th from 7:30 am - 1 pm. You can officially sign up at the link and join the GroupMe as well.

Marathon infosession on Thursday, September 8th at 7 pm in Engineering Building 2, Room W205.
